Taejoon. What I have just read resonates very deeply within me. I'm learning that fear is what holds everyone back because, rightly so, the unknown is very intimidating and not going forward keeps us 'safe'. However, the opposite could be true. We could be in more danger of stagnation if we remain the same and not take a leap of faith. I also have a great quote which explains this condition very well. "A ship in a harbour is safe, but that is not what ships were made for'. I shall keep your words in mind, think of myself as a ship and only visit an occasional harbour :)

Thank you again, Sir, for having that talk with me. This article really helps, and although I know I'm looking at yet another one of those "paradigm shifts," I know this is what I want, and it's worth taking a few stabs at (or more) until the knowledge becomes my own.

Hwarang, Sir, and happy hunting. :)

To tell the truth, I am speechless. The Shawshank Redemption is exceptional. I am quite young film fan, in point of fact, this film appeared whenI was very young, and hence I'am to a greater extent used to movies with marvelous special effects, edge-of-your-seat action, et cetera. This film has no of that, and nonetheless, it appeals so close to me . The way Frank Darabont uses the story of Red to drive on the story, the excellent the soundtrack used (note the mouth harp used merely earlier Red finding the letter at the end). The whole movie, from starting to finish, from actions to music, is a beacon of desire, judgement, and repurchase. The cast is mastered, Morgan Freeman(Red) really brings about a fresh feel to the story, and that's exactly what the film is, what a film should be. Really recommended for each film fan.

I too have a fear of falling, there have been Manny times while practicing that I haven't followed through on techniques because I was afraid of getting hurt,
rationalizing it out by using a potential injury would interfere with my ability to work my work is dependent on my physical health, but who am I kidding?
If I am in better shape, and better practiced in my techniques, then I can better handle potentially dangerous conditions, Grand Master is right and its my fear in the first place that could creating a bigger problem in the future

Thank you grandmaster for those words of wisdom. Fear has held me for a long time now, both in every day life and in Judo. I too have a fear of falling (or being thrown) this fear causes me to become stiff and i can not execute my throws to the best of my ability or when working with my partner it makes it difficult for them to preform the throw correctly.

I know i need to relax, that speed would come if i were and my movements are to easily judged when i am tense, yet even with this knowledge i find it difficult to do so. Though i will now try to keep your words in mind and overcome my fear.
